Snow Palace Mysuru (also referred to as Snow City) is an indoor snow park. In a city that rarely sees temperatures below 20°C, it provides real snow throughout the day. It’s spread across 10,000 sq ft, with temperatures kept below 0°C year-round. Its impressive dome rises to about 12.5 meters, giving you the feeling of stepping into a true palace of snow.

The enjoyable snowball fights and ice slides have made Snow Palace a popular stop for families and young visitors. It offers a slice of snow country to Mysore, to step out of the Karnataka heat and straight into snowfall, without leaving the city.

Mysore Snow Palace is located close to the city centre, near the Mysore Zoo. This central setting makes it one of the most convenient tourist attractions in Mysore. It’s integrated with the Underwater Zone experience just across the road.

1. Playing in the snow – The snow arena is the heart of Snow Palace, with snowball fights, a snow mound to climb, and steady snowfall keeping things wintry throughout your session. The snow is made with pure, distilled water, ensuring it is hygienic and safe even with hundreds of people visiting every day.

2. Sliding through the snow – Beyond the open play area, the park has ice slides, a snow bike and a snow disc for anyone who wants some more adventure. A snow igloo also adds some variety to Snow Palace. It's a popular photo spot in this snow park, attracting long queues.

3. Exploring the aquarium next door – Snow Palace is part of the Underwater Zone premises across the door. It houses Lokaranjan Aqua World, an underwater zoo, which is said to be the largest underwater aquarium in India. It has over a hundred species of fish and other aquatic species. For marine life lovers, this tunnel aquarium is a treat to the eyes.

Snow Palace Timings and Entry Fee

Snow Palace is open daily from 9 AM to 8 PM, with entries allowed in hourly batches. The last entry is allowed at 7 PM. On weekends and holidays, entry is usually extended until 8 PM, with the venue closing at 9 PM.

Snow Palace Mysore tickets are priced at ₹450 per person on weekdays and ₹550 per person on weekends and holidays. Each session includes 15 minutes for changing into snow gear, followed by 45 minutes of snow play. Jackets, gloves and gumboots are provided without extra rental charges. Combo tickets for Aqua World and Snow Palace are also available.

Snow Palace is located near Mysuru Zoo, close to the heart of the city. It's about 3 km from Mysuru railway junction, 2 km from the main bus stand, and 12 km from Mysore airport.
